Yoga & Wellness with Vicky Meikle
I first stepped onto my mat over 9 years ago, and I've been hooked ever since!
A reoccuring injury after numerous years playing competitive sports, gym work
and running led me to try yoga, to see if I could work with my body and look after it.
Since my first class I've attended numerous classes in Rugby and the surrounding
towns, and I found myself drawn into a regular practice that steadily increased
my energy, stamina, concentration and enjoyment of life.
I discovered my love of vinyasa yoga on my first yoga retreat with appleyoga.
Our teacher on the retreat, Katy Appleton, offered practices that were truly
inspirational and this ignited my desire to train as a yoga teacher. I trained
with Katy learning the appleyoga approach to vinyasa flow and gained the
200hr Yoga Alliance Accredited Teacher Training.
My teaching is therefore heavily influenced from my training allowing me to offer
my passion and love for yoga in every class I teach.
Every class is different - we focus on ways you can take your learnings from
your mat into your everday life.
